Mustard Fried Chicken


Please please please try this chicken you will not be disappointed.
Ingredients for chicken mixture:
3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup mustard
1/3 cup hot sauce of your choice
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon tio santi perfect seasoning or season salt or all season
Salt and pepper to taste. If using season salt above omit salt here.
Ingredients for chicken coating
2-3 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon tio santi perfect seasoning
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions:
Mix chicken and all chicken mix ingredients ie; mustard, hot sauce, garlic and onion powder, perfect seasoning and salt and pepper. Mix well and let sit while heating up oil to fry on high. When oil is hot enough then coat each piece of chicken one by one with flour. The secret is to drop the chicken in 2-3 pieces at a time as to not over crowd the pot and don’t touch it at all for at least 10 mins. Turn after 10 minutes to other side cook additional 5-10 minutes. By not touching it the crunchiness stays intact.
Serve with my adult style dill macaroni and cheese and a side of vegetables like I made tonight spinach with apple cider vinegar on top. I also thought biscuits or corn bread would make a nice addition but I didn’t have time. You will not be eating just one piece I promise. Just look
